Cinnamon is a spice that comes from the branches of wild trees that belong to the genus “Cinnamomum”
There are two main types of cinnamon:
- Ceylon cinnamon often considered; to be “true cinnamon”
- Cassia cinnamon or Chinese cinnamonoriginates from southern China, is typically less expensive than Ceylon cinnamon.
Cinnamon has been used from 2000 Years in our Ayurveda and therapeutic medicine.
Action- It had Cinnamoldehyde molecular compound which reduces swelling.
Dosage- 5 g per day

- It can be had first thing in morning with water + 4 drops of lime + ½ tsp honey
